Today is Monday March 23rd CWA and Verizon are in constant discussions at the Local, District, and National level to help all our members deal with this unprecedented Coronavirus crisis. Any information that we receive from the National or the company will be posted on our Facebook page and our website. As everyone is aware, we are all dealing with an ever-changing situation. Stay in touch with your stewards, chiefs, and the executive board to get and give information. All our efforts are into ensuring that the company is doing everything possible in protecting our members during this pandemic. While at work, pay attention to your surroundings and if conditions look or become unsafe, leave the area and call your manager and inform the Local. If you are not feeling well, contact your health care provider immediately. If you need, you can contact TeleHealth, which would be covered under the MEP plan at the same cost that applies to an office visit. Do not hesitate to call the Local with any questions or concerns.
